A Holy Pause
Sometimes in life, we need to stop what we are doing and walk away. This is not because we are doing something wrong. Nor is it because we are bored with what we are doing. It is for rest—a time to lay down in green pastures and allow God to refresh your soul.
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul.
Psalm 23:1-3
I have heard the gentle whisper of God inviting me to a place and a time of rest. As I reflect upon the past four years of writing this blog, I see how faithful God has been to nurture, grow, and strengthen the ministry of Beautifully Broken. Because of this, I can trust God to hold us, the Beautifully Broken, close to His heart, as we pause in our journey.
As I choose to accept His invitation to rest, I am confident He will never leave or forsake any of us. He will continue to minister to each one of you and meet your needs. I am praying for you to continue to grow in your faith and relationship with God.
I will never leave you nor forsake you.
Joshua 1:5b
I am not sure how long God has called me to this Holy Pause, but I will be faithful to listen and hear from God, and I am anticipating a bountiful future ministry with Beautifully Broken.
As I take time to rest and allow God to refresh my soul, I ask you to keep me in your prayers, to lean into your journey of faith, and to wait expectantly to see what God has in store for our future. I know it is going to be good!
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12:9
2 Corinthians 12:9
So, for now, I love you all. I continue to pray for you. And I am anticipating new and good things for the ministry of Beautifully Broken!

Thank you for having the courage to follow God in pausing even in things He Himself has give you. You inspire me. May God bless you in many ways. Till next time. . . .
