Meet Laurie

Laurie Hampton is a writer and blogger whose passion is to encourage women to find peace and grace in Christ Jesus, to inspire women to live authentic, not perfect, lives and to point them to Jesus to heal and beautify their brokenness. She writes on such topics as hope, friendships, and authenticity. Laurie’s first book, a devotional, is now available on Amazon.

Laurie has a writing certificate from Metropolitan Community College and a degree in accounting that she tries really hard not to have to use. She has been married to Richard for 25 years and they live in Kansas City, near their two adult sons.

Laurie’s other interests include reading, quilting and hanging out with her family. She attends church at a local Vineyard Church and is involved in their prayer team and Stop Human Trafficking ministry.
